Color Rhythm is a game for players who want precise mechanics, fast-moving feedback on player actions, and a challenge driven by music. Fast rounds, addictive scoring, and increasingly and beautifully absurd levels make this game stand alone and be played for short bursts or for a long session searching for that elusive perfect streak.

Gameplay Mechanics

Color Rhythm centers around one mechanic: flip your cube, on the beat.

• Platforms flash in colors (Blue, Green, Orange, Red, Purple). Each color matches a terrific timing window and pattern type.
• As a platform pulse, flip your cube to match the color cue, perfectly in time, on the beat.
• Perfect timing results in a combo; inputting too late or too early results in a broken combo.
• Chains increase score multipliers and reveal short visual flares and new layers of music.
• Errors reduce your health bar; too many misses, and your level will end.

Controls of Color Rhythm

Mouse: Click, or simply left-click, to flip the cube.

• Single click = a standard flip (which you will be doing most of the time).
• Hold + click (short hold) = a delayed/extended flip for special transition notes.

User Interface buttons: Pause, Retry, Toggle Sound, Track Select.

The mouse-first/simple control scheme allows you to pick up and play quickly on a desktop/laptop.

Level Overview

Level 1 - Blue: Feel the Start

Learn the basics. Slow tempo, large color windows, forgiving timing. Perfect for warming up and establishing your first combos.

Level 2 - Green: Flow the Journey

Beats and sequences quicken and are adjusted or "adaptive." You will run into repeated color patterns noted by smooth, rhythmic flips.

Level 3 - Orange: Run the Beat

Mid-tempo chaos with tricky transitions. These patterns can change color mid-pattern - be prepared to adapt!

Level 4 - Red: Feel the Heartbeat

A plethora of drops, syncopated, and color changes that require almost instantaneous flips. Precision, confidence, and awareness all carry you here.

Level 5 - Purple: Burn the Rhythm

The maximum stage of musical chaos. Fast tempo, tight timing, layered sounds. Only the most skilled combos have a chance.
