Blendrix Game Summary

Objective

Join the tiles on the board by connecting different tiles of the same color for them to combine into one. Each level will feature a unique layout and target goal; your goal is to make connections until all tiles have merged into the level's target.

Controls

  • Desktop / Laptop: Click and hold to select a tile, then drag to contiguous tiles and connect them - release the connection after selecting.
  • Touch devices (mobile and tablet): Tap and drag the connecting path with a finger.
  • There are no additional buttons - controls have been implemented with a minimalist and sleek design to be in accordance with the game style.

Rules / Mechanics

  • Tiles may only connect orthogonally (up, down, left, right).
  • The only tiles that may get directly connected are ones of the same hue.
  • All of the tiles that are connected will merge into one tile when they are all connected; the length or shape of the connections affects how the board will look.
  • There could be some blocks on levels (blocked tiles), there could be locked colors, or there could be other color boosters that could adjust the rules for merging.
  • A level is considered completed when the board has reached the level target - generally, a target color or a specific orientation of tile.
